I’m traveling from St Petersburg, Russia to Tallinn, Estonia. There are no direct flights between Russia and Europe right now, so I took a bus. The land border between Russia and Estonia is the hardest to cross. Borders into Latvia and Lithuania are, for some reason, considerably easier. But here, at the Ivangorod-Narva checkpoint, the FSB (Russian secret services) hold you for hours, take your finger prints, and ask uncomfortable questions about people in your phone’s contact list.
